The sturdy and heavy 6-inch carving fork holds a hefty rib-eye steak or roasted turkey breast with ease and the superior 8-inch blade delivers either thick and juicy or paper-thin slices with ease. Part of the Culinar series of cutlery, the knife in this contemporary-looking carving set has blades constructed of the perfect balance of high-carbon stainless steel for strength and longer edge retention. The stain-resistant blade is hand-forged and hand-honed and then laser-ground and -polished from tip to bolster to ensure precision slicing. The knife in this set has excellent heft, owed to Wusthof?s signature weighted bolster.
